Welcome
Backcountry Guide Service
for Tarpon, Snook, and Redfish

Treat yourself to an outdoor adventure of a lifetime here in the 10,000 Islands and Everglades National Park.

The 10,000 Islands are located just S of Naples and Marco Island and include the Everglades National Park. These islands are the spawning grounds for the most sought after fish in the state of Florida! This magnificent Island System is home to Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Trout, Cobia and Grouper. I will guide you through some of the most remote areas of the Everglades National Park and 10,000 Islands for an unforgettable trip of light tackle fishing action. As an added bonus, these trips may almost certainly include sightings of Alligator, Manatee, Raccoon, Osprey, Bald Eagle, and Dolphin. I know where they live and play!

I welcome everyone! If you are a beginner, avid fisherman or just want to see the "Real" Everglades and 10,000 Islands I will make this an adventure you will not soon forget. We will explore the beautiful outer islands bordering the Gulf of Mexico. These outer Islands and their points are favorite local fishing spots. We'll cruise through remote backcountry creeks that hold the promise of a trophy Red or Snook. In between these areas are middle bays, off the beaten path, where the tarpon roll revealing the spot for a perfect cast. I take great pride in teaching about fishing and nature! Its up to you!  Port of the Islands, Everglades City, Chokoloskee or Marco.

Most of my trips are from Port of the Islands, which is a small resort fishing community, from which I live, work, and play.  The Port is located in Naples, Florida; just before you get to Everglades City. We have a full service marina that can provide all your last minute needs.  Accommodations are easy to come by in or near downtown Naples.  I can also service your fishing needs from Everglades City, Marco Island and Chokoloskee. So, fish for a day or plan an extended getaway. I will help you plan a trip that will fit your needs!
